About Locus, LLC

Locus, LLC is a new preservation and planning firm based in Kansas City, Missouri. Locus, LLC uniquely draws from multiple disciplines including urban planning, historic preservation and public involvement.

Locus, LLC was founded in 2010 by Amanda Crawley and Ashley Winchell. Miss Crawley has a Masters in Historic Preservation from Columbia University and three years of professional experience. Miss Winchell is a candidate for a Masters in Historic Preservation from Tulane University and brings three professional experience to Locus, LLC. Additionally, she has an undergraduate degree in Urban Planning from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Both Miss Crawley and Miss Winchell meet the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for architectural historians and meet the Code of Federal Regulations, 36 CFR Part 61.
